About me
I am an AI Researcher and Computational Economist specializing in Applied AI and the analysis of Complex Systems. By combining advanced machine learning frameworks with economic principles, I develop scalable, automated algorithms designed to optimize decision-making and continuous control in highly dynamic environments.
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and serve as a Lecturer at Tecnológico de Monterrey. My current focus is bridging the gap between theoretical computational economics and practical, real-world artificial intelligence applications.
Core Expertise
My technical work operates at the intersection of these key domains:
- Automated Reinforcement Learning (AutoRL): Designing closed-loop, self-tuning algorithms for continuous control tasks.
- Meta-Optimization: Leveraging Population-Based Training, Swarm Intelligence, and Bayesian Optimization for hyperparameter scheduling.
- Complex Networks: Applying Graph Neural Networks to dynamic environments, such as cost-aware topological immunization.
Recent News
- October 2026: I will be presenting advances of my complex networks research at the Doctoral & Early Career Research Mentoring Program at the GIS LATAM 2026. @Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Estado de México
